Each class will include a 45-60 minute prenatal yoga practice, perfect for moms at every stage of pregnancy.

Each of our presenters is a mom to multiple children, and leaders in their fields. Here is a brief description on what each presenter will cover:

Feb 13- Angela Imhoff , PT, DPT – pelvic floor PT at Mayo – Angela will provide strategies for fully relaxing and fully engaging your pelvic floor in pregnancy for optimal pelvic floor function and health in both pregnancy and postpartum.

Feb 20- Erica Boland , DC – DONA certified Doula, Birthfit Regional Director, & chiropractor – Erica will share with us how using a birth doula can decrease your risk for c-section and support a positive birth experience. She will also discuss the benefits of chiropractic in pregnancy.

Feb 27- Beth Heitpas, IBCLC– Lactation consultant at Mayo & prenatal yoga teacher- Beth will provide breastfeeding support and troubleshooting! Beth will share how to promote a good latch as soon as your baby arrives, regulating your supply, and some of the ins and outs of breastfeeding and pumping. Even for veteran breastfeeding moms you will learn something new!

March 6 – Melissa Fannin MA, LPC, ATR – Owner & therapist at Fannin Art Therapy – Melissa will guide us through mindfulness practice’s for pregnancy and birth and share a bit of why they are valuable. Melissa will also facilitate creating some birth art with us.
